Amazon.com Talk about meeting cute: the perky star of All She Wants for Christmas, Noelle, meets hunky stranger Justin because the gigantic blow-up snowman balloon she accidentally loosened in the town square comes crashing down on Justin's SUV. But no harm done, as this gently comic romance cues the viewer early on that there will be no heavy mental lifting in the film, which is a sweet valentine to the holidays, for the whole family. Noelle (played by Monica Keena, channeling a Dallas-era Charlene Tilton) is really named Judith, but her birthday's in December, ergo the nickname. And her teeny home town, Forest City, is sort of like Santa's workshop south of the North Pole--the biggest employer in the town is the local Christmas decoration company. So Christmas is never far from the minds of the locals. Noelle is trying to save the company, while making big plans to take her newly minted MBA to Wall Street. "While other girls were playing with dolls," she winsomely tells Justin, "I played with the stock market." As for Justin, he's something of an international man of mystery, regaling Noelle with yarns of Greek isles and shark diving off South Africa. But no Pamplona: "Running with the bulls is so five minutes ago--too many weekend warriors." If there's not much real mystery in what will happen to Forest City, the ornament company, and Noelle and Justin, it's completely OK, as the cheer of the cast--and the season--will surely lift the Scroogiest spirits. --A.T. great christmas movie? December 19, 2008 A great christmas movie? Not so much. But hey, if you collect christmas movies, you gotta have em all. Happy holidays...
It's not that bad... December 19, 2008 Maybe I have bad taste or something, but I actually enjoyed this movie (albeit, only as a guilty pleasure), and was surprised to see all the one-star reviews. This is your typical made-for-tv / lifetime-original-movie fare, and if you go into it knowing what to expect, it's an enjoyable ride. Sure, it's corny, patronizing, and full of hammy acting from no-name actors, but it's a sweet and simple movie that captures the spirit of the season pretty well...and that's what I expect from this type of feature. After watching Lifetime Network's Christmas specials for the past few weeks, this one actually stands out as one of the better efforts.
Sweet storyline, not the best acting December 15, 2008 I'm a sucker for Christmas movies in general. I will agree with the others here in that the acting was terrible, at least the main female character was played by a terrible actress (who is she? I don't recognize her from anything else), the rest of the cast did an OK job. Even so, I still enjoyed the sweet story line. And all and all, for a Christmas TV movie, it's not the worst I've seen.
Wonderfull Christmas movie. All ages. November 26, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wonderfull Christmas movie for all ages. Looks like a younger Callie on CSI Miami.

Clean, refreshing and worthwhile family movie about the Christmas season. We loved it and look forward to purchasing more like it.
