"On the Rocks" includes the funniest movie spoof ever done -- F&S doing "The Making of the Filming of the Making of Titanic".

These women are great! I love their comedy. They have something we don't get much in America-quality.This is a spoof of the popular culture movie Titanic mixed in with skits that are either of their own creation, or a spoof of other shows and popular culture. Hilarious - these women ARE geniuses!

If you are a French and Saunders fan, you have to get this DVD. As usual, the writing is fresh, the outlook of each character is unique and hilarious. I'm a huge Saunders fan, so in my book, there's not much she does that I can find fault with.

This review applies to every single French and Saunders DVD. These women are genious. Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French have the ability to make you laugh out loud until you cry. They're like the Lucy and Ethel of our generation, and I live in America! They poke and make fun of famous movies, models, commercials, themselves. They are hilarious! Dawn French is so animated and Jennifer writes good material. I'm impressed by such detail and care they place when they recreate a famous movie or TV show and make fun to the fullest extreme. I love these women. You need to see the sketches "What Ever Happened to Baby Dawn", "The Exorcist" "Titanic" "Misery" "Truth or Dare" "Lord of the Rings". Good God, the list goes on. The latest skit on Britanny, Madonna and Missy Eliott is a scream, and the way Dawn rips on Byork will make you laugh so hard you'll keep rewinding to empahasis on her animated expressions and then you'll laugh harder! These woman are brilliant. No matter what Jennifer Sanuders and Dawn French do is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, no pun intended.

This DVD features 15 sketches from French & Saunders, and the 1988 and 2002 Christmas specials.
The sketches are OK, but do not represent the best of French & Saunders.
The 2002 Christmas special will probably not appeal to those who are not familiar with British TV. The opening scene is a parody of BBC One's on-sceen identity and the special continues with lots of references to British TV.
The real highlight of this DVD is the 1988 Christmas special. This was French & Saunders at their best and this DVD is worth purchasing for this alone.
