"Hell"--It's July, and that means it's time for the fathers' annual holiday. With interesting activities like boiling water and taking a day trip to "St. Kevin's Stump," the stage is set for an incredibly exciting two weeks.

"Think Fast, Father Ted"--With the parish house roof threatening to collapse, Ted convinces Bishop Brennan to give the parish a new car. They plan to raffle it off to raise funds, but when a bit of amateur bodywork goes wrong, Ted has to come up with a plan...

"Tentacles of Doom"--The Holy Stone of Clonrichert is about to be upgraded to a Class II relic, and Ted is determined that Fathers Dougal and Jack be on their best behavior. But a crisis of faith, a faulty toilet, and an overbearing bishop will put them all to the test.

To many Americans the essence of Britsh comedy is Monty Python. Since Python (and long before it) there is a long list of great irreverant comedy - Father Ted is the best in the last ten years.

It is about 3 catholic priests who have been banished to a windswept Irish Island becuase the Catholic Church wants to hide them under the carpet. The main character Father Ted is an incompetent priest who has a history of 'financial irregularities', there is Father Dougal probaly the most stupidest priest alive, and Father Jack, an old drunk who only ever says 3 words (not printable here).

Thats about all you need to know. Just buy it - if you are planning a visit to Great Britain or Ireland (is that part of Britain, is that the UK, whats the difference - does anyone actually know?) and you want to understand a bit about the humour before you arrive - buy this.

Some people may find the content blashpemous, please don't - its not supposed to be taken seriously. In fact at its peak in Britain it was Catholic Priests favourite comedy.
