Amazon.com Life is settling into an almost normal routine for twin witches Camryn (Tamera Mowry) and Alex (Tia Mowry) following their heroic efforts to save the magical realm of Coventry from the evil warlock Thantos (Patrick Fabian) and the invading darkness in Twitches . The two sisters are learning to use and control their magical powers and getting used to living as one family while they explore collegiate life at Waverly University and get to know their real mother Miranda (Kristen Wilson). Unexpectedly, the darkness returns to threaten Coventry once again and this time it follows Camryn and Alex into the mortal world. Protectors Karsh (Pat Kelly) and Ileana (this time played by Leslie Seiler) interrupt their nuptial planning to bring the girls back to Coventry at Miranda's command, but Camryn and Alex find themselves questioning their mother's decision to deprive her people of their magical powers as well as her insistence that the girls perform a spell to vanquish the darkness in two days time. Even more confusing is Alex's inexplicable conviction that her father Aron (Kevin Jubinville) is alive and residing in the very Shadow lands her and Camryn are set to destroy. In the end, Camryn and Alex must find a way to collaboratively use their powers to preserve Coventry without sacrificing their own convictions. Like the first film, an alternate ending leaves viewers with a shred of doubt, opening the door for another sequel. Also included is a 6-minute behind the scenes featurette. Cute Movie for Younger Audience December 30, 2008 This is a cute magical movie series. It is exactly what Disney is known for. However, as far as accuracy is concerned, anyone who is a fan of the book series by H.B. Gilmour & Randi Reisfeld will be disappointed as this is NOT the kind of Harry Potterish book-to-movie thing. Lots of details have been changed and left out completely. Maybe I would have liked it more if it had been a bigger budget film series. I can't really say I like the script on this one. The movie relies heavily on cheesy special effects. I feel that the characters have been "dumbed down" a lot. Yes, it's Disney, but still... children don't need to be treated like they're stupid. I don't want to give anything away for those who haven't seen it yet. Go read the books and you'll understand my review.
Technical difficulties November 10, 2008 We had problems with viewing this video. We could never reach the instructions to play and it kept getting stuck in the DVD player.
Annoying, but worth it November 10, 2008 As with most Disney Channel/Disney sequels, this was annoying. My children loved it though. It is not as bad as some, and probably as good as the first Twitches, as both are a little sad. However, for Halloween or good spooky/magical fun this is at least fun and safe for kids to watch.
I LOVE TWITCHES & TWITCHES TOO!!! GREAT!! September 13, 2008 Twitches too is such a good movie, I even think it's better than the first one. My favorite part was at the very end whenever Thantos was gone forever and Camerone and Alex had their dad back again - so sweet! Ileana and Karsh are so hilarious, they make a great couple! All I have to say about this movie is that, Twitches is really great, but Twitches Too is just as dazzling! Buy it - Twitches Too& Twitches - Betwitched Edition
